  • 0.25 white cabbage
  • 0.25 red cabbage
  • 60 gram Speck Alto Adige PGI (cut into matchsticks)
  • 50 gram Schüttelbrot (traditional crispy bread from South Tyrol)
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 tablespoonmustard
  • 1 tablespoonapple vinegar
  • 1 tablespoonolive oil
  • extra virgin olive oil to taste
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste

Salad of cabbage with Speck Alto Adige PGI and Schüttelbrot croutons

Preparation time 10 min

  1. Thinly slice the cabbage and mix in the cumin seeds.
  2. Prepare the dressing by mixing together the mustard, vinegar, oil and salt.
  3. Divide the ingredients between eight 0.5-litre jars, starting with the dressing, the red and then the white cabbage, and then add the Speck Alto Adige PGI matchsticks and the Schüttelbrot broken into small pieces.
