Traditional South Tyrolean speck craftsmanship since 1976
Since 1976, Kofler has stood for the authentic production of Speck Alto Adige PGI, made according to traditional artisanal methods passed down through generations. Growing as a family business, the company combines decades of experience with continuous development. The production site lies at over 1,350 m above sea level on the Gampen Pass, in the peaceful village of Unsere Liebe Frau im Walde. The cool, clear mountain air creates ideal natural conditions for maturing high quality specialities.

Family tradition with a modern approach
Production follows a proven family recipe: carefully selected meat is seasoned with care, gently smoked over beech wood and matured for at least 22 weeks. This process gives the speck its distinctive, delicately spiced flavour. Through targeted expansion, traditional methods have been thoughtfully combined with modern technology to ensure consistently high quality.
