Preparation

Cut the Vinschgerle lenghtwise and spread one half lightly with butter. Place the tasty South Tyrolean Speck on one half and add two slices of cheese. Then put the Bauerntoast in the oven and bake it at about 200° about 8-10 minutes until crispy fried. You can vary the Bauerntoast by showing it with tomato slices and lettuce leaves.
